Sage was born in Queens, New York but was raised in Fort Myers, Florida. After high school, he moved two hours north to Tampa, Florida to attend the University of South Florida where he met Jesus for the first time. He also met his lovely wife Mariah while in Tampa. They now have four children: Roman, Cassie, Nathan, and Benjamin.

Sage worked as a technical writer and financial risk manager while serving at his local church in Tampa. After four years of serving as their Youth Director, Sage’s desire to serve God vocationally was overwhelming. So God called Sage and his family to Cary, North Carolina to pursue ministry training at Shepherds Theological Seminary. A year after graduating with a Master of Theological Studies degree, God called the Rodrigos to Austin, Texas for Sage to serve as one of the Church Plant Residents at The Well.

Sage loves spending time with his kids and he and Mariah are big into movies. More than anything, Sage is passionate about making much of God and helping others do the same. He is excited for this new season in Austin as the Lord moves in his life in preparation to bring others into relationship with the Lord through a new church plant.
