Maddy Orr is from Austin and has been a covenant member at the Well since 2016. She grew up with exposure to the Gospel but really started following Jesus at the end of high school. Maddy attended UT, earning a degree in special education, and spent five years teaching elementary students-special education and 2nd grade. After a decade of following Christ, He called her into ministry at The Well through the residency program. Now, she’s able to combine her love for teaching, counseling, and mentoring college students in her full-time role with Well College Ministry. Maddy is eager to see where God leads her during this residency and is already filled with joy as she spreads the Gospel and her love for Jesus on campus while discipling college-aged women. In her free time, Maddy enjoys rock climbing, camping, Rao’s marinara sauce, and the color pink.
