Sloan grew up in a loving Christian home where faith was central to family life. With his father’s call to the pastorate when Sloan was in third grade, he also experienced the added pressures of being a pastor’s kid. His early faith leaned heavily on moralism and performance, but over the years, God revealed His unconditional love through summer camps, campus ministries, and mentors.

As Sloan matured, his faith became less about duty and more about a personal relationship with Christ. His life is now built upon the love and grace of God, which he desires to reflect in all he does.

What first drew Sloan to The Well was its Christ-centered focus, and what continues to encourage him is the church’s diversity. He treasures seeing people of different races, generations, and backgrounds united in worship.

At The Well, Sloan has served on the Trailer Team, as a CG Shepherd, and most recently on the Sign Team.
