What The Residency Looks Like

                                        A Residency That Builds Planters
                                    
                                        This 2-year full-time residency equips future church planters with hands-on ministry training, leadership development, and strategic coaching—designed to help them plant diverse, gospel-centered churches that reflect the Kingdom of God.

                                        Grow in Character, Skill and Vision
                                    
                                        Residents follow a personalized learning contract, growing in Bible knowledge, preaching, leadership, cultural intelligence, and church systems. The goal is to prepare planters to lead healthy churches from day one.

                                        What a Typical Year Looks Like
                                    
                                        Year 1 includes leadership development, fundraising training, discipleship, family care, strategic planning, and preaching practice. Year 2 focuses on launching the church plant—with continued coaching and support.

                                        Who We’re Looking For
                                    
                                        Ideal candidates are elder-qualified leaders with strong character, communication skills, and a clear calling to plant. They value diversity, love the local church, and are committed to evangelism and discipleship.

                                        How You’ll Be Supported
                                    
                                        Residents receive a salary, healthcare, and coaching in Year 1. Support raising begins during the first year to fund Year 2 and the plant launch. The Well provides ongoing coaching, grants, and resources post-launch.

                                        From Vision to Launch
                                    
                                        Residents are trained to develop a clear vision, gather a launch team, create a strategic ministry plan, raise funds, and shepherd a new church. Our mission: to plant 100 churches in 50 years—starting with you.

So far, we’ve planted 4 churches nationally who are planting churches and sharing the gospel to those who have never heard.
