Christ's Preeminance • Tory Mayo

We continue in our series on Colossians, today looking at one of the denser sections of the entire New Testament, especially with regard to Christology. Who truly is the Person of Christ? And is He as lofty in our minds, or, more importantly for many of us, is He as lofty in our hearts and souls as the Scriptures make Him out to be? If not (which, He isn't!), how do we exalt Him more? Rather than preaching, we're doing some practice of exalting Christ.

WELL SAID PODCAST • Apr . 29 . 2026

Is comfort the highest good?

If something feels hard, does that mean something is wrong? We live in a world that avoids discomfort at all costs, but what if that instinct is forming us in the wrong ways? In this episode, Tory and Mary explore the difference between comfort and formation, and how Scripture reframes suffering, endurance, and obedience.

OUR VISION

100. 100. 50.

Our vision is to plant 100 churches nationally, and 100 churches internationally in the first 50 years of being a church.

So far, we’ve planted 4 churches nationally and have sent 6 missionaries who are planting churches and sharing the gospel to those who have never heard.
