Justice & Mercy 2020
ABOUT THE SERIES
Jesus tells us to pray within the Lord’s Prayer, “…your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Therefore, as believers, we should long to see the type of justice that will be true in heaven one day happen even now on earth. If Jesus tells us to pray for this, it is only right in thinking that he also wants us to be active participants in establishing the Kingdom on earth too. If the church moves in justice, it will be attractive to the world (in hopes that they would be drawn towards Christ), and capture the Christian, as they’re imagining God who makes right all things. If we catch a vision of how things could be one day, it can encourage us in the present to fight towards this end.

Immigration
In this sermon we discuss the topic of immigration. This topic, like others, has been so politicized, has caused us to miss the Biblical imploring of the way we think about and treat people not from this country. Though this may not be their home, they're still created in the image of God, and actually have a special place in the heart of God, that we're called to showcase and cultivate.

Politics
In this sermon we discuss the issue of politics. The Bible has a lot to say about politics and informs us as to how we should begin thinking about it. Politics matter because they directly impact people whom we desire to extend justice and mercy, so to spend time here is important. Additionally, while the political landscape seems chaotic, it is a great chance for the church to be light in the world. Join us as we continue to engage in this weighty topic, seeking a better way!

Okay, So Now What?
In this sermon we conclude our Justice and Mercy series. We've tackled several issues where we need to extend the justice and mercy of God as the people of God, but that leaves us with the question, where do we go from here? How can we apply this individually and collectively as a church family?
