It is important for us to remember that the Character of God has not changed.  That even in the Old Testament there are many instances where there is opposition, but in each opposition, we see examples of God’s faithfulness being displayed.  In fact, through God calling His people to be faithful and in the obedience of trusting in God, His name is magnified and as a result people from kings and enemies confess that Yahweh is the one true God. As Christians how are we responding?  Do our lives magnify the name of God?  Are we being faithful, obedient, a pillar to the world around us?
