Steps to Gospel Recovery Curriculum

This 15-week journey is designed to walk participants through gospel-centered healing across four key relationships—God, self, others, and the world. Each week addresses a specific theme like anger, grief, confession, or perseverance, with a clear progression from recognizing brokenness to experiencing lasting transformation. The curriculum includes teaching, reflection, guided prayer, and practical tools like inventory templates and a repentance plan, all aimed at building a life of freedom, honesty, and purpose.

Event FAQs

What is Recovery at The Well?

Recovery at The Well is a gospel-centered ministry designed to help anyone hurting from their own sin, the sin of others, or the brokenness of life. Through weekly meetings, participants experience healing and hope in Christ through confession, repentance, and celebration.

Who is Recovery for?

Recovery is for anyone—regardless of background—who is struggling with pain, addiction, past wounds, or any area of brokenness. Whether your struggle is internal or relational, this is a place for you.

When and where does Recovery meet?

Recovery meets on Thursday nights from 6:45 to 8:45 PM, September through June, at The Well’s offices.

What happens at a typical meeting?

Each night begins with everyone together for a story of healing and a teaching on one of the 12 steps of recovery. After that, we split into gender-specific small groups to reflect on the step, share honestly, and commit to one simple action for the coming week.

Do I need to be a member of The Well to attend?

No. Recovery is open to anyone, whether or not you attend The Well.

What are the “12 steps” you use?

Our 12 steps are biblically rooted and provide a structured path for healing and accountability. They guide us through surrender, confession, reconciliation, and daily obedience to Christ.

Do I have to share if I attend?

You’re welcome to come and listen. Sharing is encouraged but never required. We want you to feel safe and ready before you speak.

Is there a cost to attend?

No, Recovery at The Well is free to attend.

Can I join at any time, or do I have to wait for a new session?

You can join at any time during the September–June window. There’s no need to wait—we’d love to welcome you whenever you’re ready.
