An onramp residency program for those thinking of entering into full-time ministry, with a particular focus on growing ethnic minorities and women in ministry.
We are looking to bring on 2-4 residents starting in May 2026 specifically in our Connections, College, and Missions ministries.
At the end of the program, we want our residents to walk away with more experience in ministry, a deeper understanding of the Word and Biblical theology, and further growth in their character and Christ-like qualities. As a sending church, reproducing and developing others is at the core of our convictions, and equipping and training residents is an incredible way to do this.
Vocational Discernment
Our 1–2 year residency is designed to help you gain clarity on whether full-time ministry is where God is calling you. You’ll have space to explore, grow, and take your next step with confidence.
+
Theological Development
Grow deeper in your faith through spiritual and theological formation. You’ll engage with curated curriculum, guided reflection, and mentoring to enrich your walk with Jesus.
+
Practical Experience
Get hands-on training from experienced staff in real ministry settings. You’ll learn the skills and rhythms needed for a healthy, sustainable life in ministry.
+
Additional Commitments
In addition to weekly ministry work, residents meet regularly with a ministry manager, attend staff meetings, participate in a 10-week Discipleship Intensive, join a Community Group, and serve during our Sunday gatherings.
+
Residency Expectations
Throughout the program, residents are expected to grow in daily devotion, biblical character, relational health, and servant leadership. We also emphasize evangelism, disciple-making, financial stewardship, biblical decision-making, global mission awareness, and a desire to keep learning and growing.

Expected Weekly Rhythm
Residents commit to 35–40 hours per week. Most of that time (25–30 hours) is spent serving in a specific ministry area. Each week also includes around 5 hours of vocational or theological development. For those interested, there’s an option to take up to 5 hours of seminary credit.
