2 Peter
Constructing Our Faith
ABOUT THE SERIES
2 Peter is one of three books in the Bible written by dying men (Deuteronomy, 2 Timothy), which creates a gravity on what Peter is saying. With his dying words, he implores those he loves to stand firm on the truth of Scripture, to allow it to be producing the fruit of righteousness in their lives, and to be on guard against anything that would try to rob this truth from you. This is a great warning and truth in our culture as well.

Recalling the Gospel
In this sermon we look at the importance of the gospel and the Scriptures. The Bible so often comes under attack or is underappreciated for its role in our spiritual lives. Why should we trust it, and what is the significance of the Scriptures? As Peter begins to get into the "meat" of his letter, he can't help but exalt the importance of Scripture, because of who the Scriptures consistently points to, and how they change us.

How do we throw away the "bad" Christianity, while keeping the good (and eternally necessary) parts? Join us as we consider this weighty topic.
