Ben grew up in Austin, Texas, where he grew to know Jesus at Hill Country Bible Church. Ben went down South to Texas State University, where he studied early childhood education and served in college ministry at his local church. After many hours floating the river, Ben felt called into full-time ministry and returned to Austin to serve at HCBC. While working at HCBC, he completed his degree in Biblical Studies at Liberty University. Ben would spend the next five years on staff at HCBC in various roles, from Intern Coordinator to 6th Grade Director. In 2016, he left Austin to be the Student Ministry Director in the Houston Area at Tomball Bible Church, where he served for 5 years. The Lord called him back to Austin in 2021 to serve as Student Pastor at Hutto Bible. Ben has a passion for students to know, live and share the love of Jesus with everything they know.

Ben is the fourth of five kids and loves spending time with his nine nieces and nephews. He loves playing tennis, frisbee golf, pickle ball, managing his first-place fantasy football team, and any yard game. Ben follows Houston area sports teams (Astros, Rockets, and Texans… in that order), but his first and most passionate love is any University of Texas sports team.
